Star will soon be adopted by her foster!
Since coming into my foster home, I have seen Star go from cautious, expressing her displeasure when no one was right near her to happily exploring new people, pets, sounds, and smells. Her busts of energy while spotting birds, bunnies and squirrels are too cute. At times, she will play with a soft, little doggy toy like Lambchop or Squeaky Squirrel. Since having Star in my home, I have picked up on some hearing loss however, most likely typical for a senior girl.
Star's History: Star was an older cockapoo that has been in the shelter a few times over the years due to life's circumstances. She has been affectionate with people and has lived with dogs, cats, and kids. She even smiles now that she is out of the shelter :) Star loves her walks and meeting other people and dogs in the neighborhood.
