Vaughn will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption.
Vaughn is one of the recent Cherokee Release dogs. He is doing well in foster care and waiting his turn to go to the vet.
Foster Update: On his first night he had a light dinner, some quiet time and walk. He slept in his crate until 5 am. Next morning he ate all his breakfast, had a short walk and has been engaging me in puppy play non stop ever since. He follows me from room to room, inspecting everything and checking on my location frequently. As I type this, he is laying at my feet. I had expected a frightened withdrawn dog, but this happy little guy has been wagging his little tail non-stop. He hasn’t left my side all morning. He likes to engage in puppy play.
