Remi will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. Foster will adopt.
10/17/2025 UPDATE: Remi is learning her new routines. Is more and more comfortable in her new environment checking out other rooms in the house and loving the comfort of her foster's soft voice and touch. She is a little shy but is embracing new smells, people, and other dogs on walks and seldom visitors to the home.
At this time Remi is settling into her new home. She has questions in her eyes as to "what is going on?" Remi loves walks and it appears that she will be a cuddler. She is going to need patience as she learns about her new life. We have been told that she does not like men wearing black hats. She loves attention and pawing when she wants to be petted. She loves her toys, chasing squirrels, sitting in the sun, and taking a nap with her human. Remi is house trained and will go to the door, or paw at you or sometimes bark if she need to go out. The groomer has said she just sits and lets her do what she needs to do. She loves kids, but not young kids that might grab or startle her. Children 10 and 12, she loves to play with them or is happy to sit by them. She squeaks with joy when she sees them.
