Bellamy will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. Her foster will adopt her. She just had her vet intake and all looks good. Just waiting on vet records.
She arrived as one of the 11 beauties in the third group of puppy mill dogs we rescued this summer.
Bellamy is full of playful energy and especially loves a game of fetch (though she’s still learning the “give it back” part!). She’s working on potty training and has made great progress, with only occasional accidents. A quick learner, she already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning with positive reinforcement.
While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she would do best in a home with calm, younger female dogs. She has not been around cats or children. We believe she’ll thrive in a home that provides structure, patience, and continued socialization.
Bellamy is still warming up to humans, but she’s making steady progress each day. With time and care, she’ll become a loyal and loving companion.
