Clyde will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. He is bonded to Bonnie, and they must be adopted together. The two are very cute together and they often lay side-by-side and kiss. On their walks, they wait for each other and are always looking backwards to see where the other one is.
Clyde is a gentle soul. He takes his treats and his food very mannerly. He is an absolute love bug. He will follow us around the house and loves to be petted and given attention. He is extremely friendly and a very happy dog. When we first got him, he had a sore back right knee, but he has shown tremendous improvement. He takes long walks now and can even climb up steps, something he would not do when he arrived. It would be best, however, for Clyde to have a home without a lot of stairs. He has improved physically so much that he moves around normally and seems mostly pain free. He loves his walks. He has energy and it is increasing each day as we take him on more walks. Clyde is generally calm. He understands NO. He is house trained, and crate trained. He is on thyroid medication daily. Clyde currently has a bladder stone; he is on a special urinary diet to help dissolve the stone. He has some skin issues that are being evaluated.
Clyde is going to make his new owner extremely happy. He is simply a beautiful, cute and emotionally adjusted dog. Clyde is a joy. He loves life. He shows us love every day and his enthusiasm for being able to enjoy walks, food and our attention is wonderful. We have not seen any behavior concerns. His primary emotion is love If you want a dog that loves attention and cuddling, Clyde is your boy. And remember, he will need his sister Bonnie to be adopted with him.
