Marsha will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. She has an adopter waiting for her.
Marsha was a mill dog mama. She is loving human companionship in her foster home. Marsha is a prior puppy mill mama, but you would never know it. She is on the small side, 22. pounds and has beautiful coloring. She has two different colored eyes. She has great manners and waits for me to go through the doorway first and is not fearful of being outdoors. She’s not shy or timid, but gentle, curious, and sweet, and responds to human touch very well. She will seek me out and sit to look at me. She doesn’t seem interested in toys. She does seem interested in watching a bit of TV. Like most dogs, I think she knows what the kitchen is. So, you better watch those countertops. On several occasions, she’s gotten up on her hind legs to surf the counter tops. Bedtime on her first night, she walked up the stairs to the second floor without any issue. After inspecting the upstairs, it was time for bed. I had a crate prepared for her and encouraged her to enter. She didn’t enter the crate on her own, but once in, settled right down. She slept well through the night.! Once she saw me stir in the morning, she sat up in the crate and was ready to start her day. We promptly went down the stairs and out the back door to go potty. She seems to be enjoying her new life in a family home.
Marsha is pending spay surgery and a dental. More will be posted on Marsha in the coming weeks.
