Reba is a prior puppy mill mamma that came to us with no training. Living in a home is presenting challenges for her. She does not seem to know what to do with her energy. She is on sedatives to help her calm down. Reba is gentle but can be anxious and hyperactive especially when frightened. She is good with adults and would probably be good with older children but not toddlers. Reba likes to bark and run zoomies around things. She still needs leash training. Reba is sweet, loves affection, follows her foster around, always at her feet. She has been good with the foster’s other dogs, but Reba is so needy that she can disrupt the pack. Reba still needs work with housetraining. She can be a bed hog and needs to learn to share and to follow commands. She can be stubborn when trying to get her to move.
Reba needs to be in a home where someone can give her one-on-one attention, with perhaps one other dog her size to help her learn more about being a house dog. Is there someone out there who would love to help Reba continue her journey to fully living a life of freedom outside of a mill?
