Obi is a affectionate sweet kind soul. He is both treat and affection motivated. He has a low maintenance coat requiring a nice neat trim once every 6 mo. He resembles his working cocker sire in coat and his bench English cocker on his Dam's size in temperament. It is difficult to find the poodle in him. He walks well on a leash and does an auto-sit. His loose leash walking is nearly as stellar as his recall. He and his siblings were raised with Puppy Culture Protocols. He sits for attention at your front to ask for attention and hopes for a treat! He is affectionate but not overly so and gets along well with other retrievers as well as other cockers and cocker mixes. He loves a soft pillow and a bed to snuggle up and prefers to sleep with his humans and not a bed on the floor. He likes rope toys and anything that comes in the monthly BarkBoxes! He is used to a quarter mile walk twice a day. He likes Breakfast and Supper and plenty of treats in between. He is crate trained. He has never been crated more than 3 hours consecutively except at night. He eats in his crate (in to eat- then back out to play) amd rides well in a crate or on a lap in a vehicle. He will make someone a great "shot-gun seat rider". He has not been tested with young children. He was raised in the home since he was born. He has been dearly loved. He is used to 30+ acres to run and play. But has not been tested to livestock. He is used to living remote and rural area.
