Penny is a delightful, curly Cocker. She wants nothing more than a lap to curl up on and someone to kiss. She has a wonderful disposition and gets along very well with her foster sister and brother. She learned to use the doggie door in the first five days and is very comfortable with using it during the day while I am at work. She doesn't realize that she is a dog and snuggles up next to me in bed. She is very comfortable on the sofa if a lap is not available. She walks very nicely on a leash. She shows no signs of food aggression. She is a bit needy simply because she has so much love to give! The ideal home would be with a human who works part time or not at all. She will growl at any noise that makes her fearful. I have not experienced excessive barking, although I told that she barked when left in a kennel. She likes to be with her humans. She is very well behaved and listens quite nicely.
If not already, Penny will be micro-chipped, spayed (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on her shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Penny to see if she is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
