Lola is a happy girl who’s little stub of a tail is always wagging. She loves to ride in the car, and to go on walks, though because of her arthritis walks can’t be too long. She enjoys playing with her toys, mostly tug of war, since fetch is difficult due to her impaired vision from cataracts. She is also happy to just chill on the couch and cuddle. She is house-trained and uses a doggy door on her own. She loves to help you clean the house, by taking care of any stray kleenex or paper towels that may be lurking around anywhere.
While in foster care, Lola was diagnosed with low thyroid levels, so she will need to be on an inexpensive thyroid supplement pill for the rest of her life. In addition, Lola takes several pills for her arthritis, as well as eye ointment for dry eyes, which will need to continue.
If not already, Lola will be micro-chipped, spayed (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on her shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Lola to see if she is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
