Lacy is a sweet, friendly girl! She loves people, including kids, but can get a little nervous around some large dogs. However, she is currently living with a lab and would likely adapt to a large dog if properly introduced. Lacy loves walks and insists on being the leader. We are working on proper leash behavior. She knows some basic commands, such as sit, stay, lay, off, and potty. She is very eager to please her people and is food motivated. Lacy's favorite toy is her rubber ball, which she carries around almost constantly. She loves to fetch but won't always return. Lacy doesn't like to go outside without a human and needs encouragement to "go potty." Lacy happily sleeps in a crate in our bedroom but is not crated at any other time during the day. Lacy does not get on furniture unless she is invited. She craves human touch but does not want to be in a lap or held for very long. However, she is not shy about asking for a belly rub! Lacy would make a wonderful companion.
If not already, Lacy will be micro-chipped, spayed (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on her shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Lacy to see if she is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
