Faith is a sweet little girl, whose tail is always wagging. She likes her tummy and ears rubbed, but only when she asks for it. Faith is not a lap dog, but a pleasure to be around. She will let you know when it's time to eat and will wander the house at her pace. After knowing you are safe and won’t cause her harm, she will also reward your love with puppy kisses. She walks well on a leash and will do almost anything for a treat. A doggy-door is suggested as she likes to go outside when she wants or needs to; not necessarily when the human says it's time. She loves going into her doggie bed, which is currently next to the human bed. She can be quite comical at times: is a little clumsy and runs into things. Her ears need to be cleaned regularly to prevent infection but no other medical needs. Since she to be the center of attention and is currently living with 2 other submissive cockers. She is such a doll with a past that no dog deserves.
NOTE: Because Faith's former life was neglectful, RMCR has made great strides in showing her the world isn't scary anymore. She does not like to be held or cuddled - unless she asks for it. Upon adoption, Faith needs at least 2-3 days of no human touch whatsoever so she can become familiar with the scents of the house and the yard. Once she trusts you, she will warm your heart. Please consider giving her the space and time needed so she can finally have a real family who loves her.
If not already, Faith will be micro-chipped, spayed (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on her shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Faith to see if she is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
