Cody has had a hard life up to now so it takes him a while to trust. Once he trusts you, he is the most loyal guy and always wants to be near you. He is just learning to ride in a car which again could be a trust issue. He loves to be petted and cuddled. You cannot raise your voice because he is a sensitive guy and will react by running away. Cody is a little underweight but fosters are working to help him gain weight. Cody just needs extra loving and reassurance that he is in his forever home.

Cody is a loving dog. He is very low energy, sleeps most the time. He comes when called, likes to cuddle. He walks well on a leash. He is skittish and afraid of men. His heart condition may be contributing to his low energy. He does not play and cannot jump. He can bark, just not often.

If not already, Cody will be micro-chipped, neutered (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on his shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Cody to see if he is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
