Chloe was found wandering the streets with her companion Bridget, they both came to RMCR in 2015 from a local shelter. They were both adopted but but due to declining health of their adopter they were returned to the rescue. Since their return, Chloe has lost her companion Bridget to declining health. Now Chloe has become less energetic and is settling into her current state of being without Bridget. Chloe is incontinent and wears a diaper when in the house. She is carried outdoors frequently throughout the day and evening as she can no longer walk down the stairs. She can walk up ok and does so when ready to come back into the house. She is mostly deaf. She is eating well and has had a recent vet check. Chloe is a gentle soul and rarely barks. She sleeps a lot more now but she does have a happy little gallop whenever she is excited. Her eyes are still bright and she is still interested all around her. She is being cared for in our hospice / Compassionate Care Progam.
If not already, Chloe will be micro-chipped, spayed (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on her shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Chloe to see if she is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
