Molly
Molly is a three year old spayed female Cocker Spaniel. She is an owner surrender from a farm in Missouri. It’s unclear why Molly was surrendered – the owner said something about her being aggressive with the other dogs on the property, but she’s shown no signs of aggression in the shelter prior to coming into rescue. She’s a bit frightened, but once she’s comfortable in her new foster home, she should regain her confidence.
Molly is up to date on all of her vaccinations and has tested heartworm negative. We don’t know how she is around kids, so we recommend a home with children over the age of twelve. She seems to be house trained, but more on that later. She is also comfortable in a crate.
Here’s what Molly’s foster mom has to say: She is VERY loving and wants to cuddle on my lap all the time. Starved for petting. Sits. Uses Doggy Door. Sleeps peaceably in crate at night. Gets along with other dogs and cats. Very sociable but she knows her own mind and I would be unsure how she would be with small children.
