Bella

Bella

Bella is a nine-month-old puppy that came to us with her best buddy, Ava, a buff and white female puppy that we believe may be an American Cocker Spaniel/Beagle mix.  We’re not really quite sure what Bella’s breed mix may be, although she may have some Cocker Spaniel in her as well.  Both girls were believed to be born in November 2008. Their owner surrendered them to our rescue because she moved into an apartment that does not accept dogs.

Bella was adopted, but when she was separated from Ava, she started to show signs of separation anxiety and her new owner was unable to cope with this new behavior.  Bella is back up for adoption, but we feel she would do best in a home with another dog that could keep her company.  Bella and Ava, as litter mates from an early age, loved to snuggle with their people on the couch, play with each other and chew their bones, balls and stuffed animals. When they were napping, they liked to cuddle up with each other in a crate.  They were great playmates and when they became separated, it was difficult for Bella.

Bella is crate trained and mostly house trained, although she may still have the occasional accident in the house; after all, she is still a puppy.  She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Since she is a puppy, she should do OK in a home with older children who know how to properly handle dogs.
