We think Squash was so named because of his coloring. He a three year old golden/red sweetheart who is a taller Cocker boy. He is a total lover and adores having his tummy rubbed! He know sit, come, off, down, and cookie, and we’re working on wait. He let us bathe him in the sink, use clippers on him, and trim his feet, so he should be fine at the groomer. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, and microchipped. Squash likes chasing balls, but hasn’t figured out how to bring them back yet! He gets along well with his foster mom’s cats and the other dogs, and he spends all his time at her feet or on her lap. Squash is crate trained and house trained and waiting here patiently for his forever home.

If you are interested in meeting Squash please fill out an online adoption application.

My name is “Punkin” or “The Punkinator” as my foster mom calls me – she told me I have to be on a diet because I look like I ate an entire pumpkin in one setting! I am a happy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel girl, red with white on my chest. It is hard for my foster mom to tell if I am a purebred or a mix, but I hear her tell me I am “a real cutie pie” no matter what. I am about 5-6 years of age, spayed, current on my vaccinations and already housetrained. I am on antibiotics right now because I have a nasty cold or ‘kennel cough’ that I need to recover from after being in the shelter. I promise to be your best friend and I have lots of love to give. Big dogs and fast children scare me a little bit because I am so small, so I would love a home where I could be with you an snuggled up all the time. A peaceful and loving home – that is what I am longing for… Call about me today!

Hi! My name is Max and I’m three years old. I just got into town! My owner in Wyoming decided he didn’t want me and my sister anymore, so he took us to the shelter there. Someone adopted my sister, but left me behind. I was pretty sad. The nice lady at the shelter called the folks at RMCR and asked if I could come to Denver and find a forever home, so here I am.

I have copper colored fur and the groomer had to shave everything but my ears because I had lots of mats. I really love to be petted and sit really close to you. I have beautiful eyes and really white teeth that sparkle when I smile up at you! I would really like to come live with you and be yours forever!

I’m supposed to tell you that I have all my vaccinations and that I’m neutered and microchipped. No accidents in the house so far. I’m not really cracked up about this crate thing though - I spent a long time in a kennel in the shelter, so I’d really like to be free to stay near you! I’m good with kids that are over the age of thirteen!

If you want to meet me, please fill out one of these adoption application things. I’ll be waiting.

I’m Callie, a gorgeous, petite, red three year old American Cocker Spaniel with a bleach blonde tuft on my head. I am about 3 years old, house trained and crate trained (although I prefer not to be in a crate; I fuss a little when I first go into a crate, but then I will settle down and be quiet). I LOVE to play with dogs. I give my love and kisses freely, ride nicely in cars and am a little shy of strangers at first. Because I’m very protective of my home and my people, I would prefer a quiet home without kids (or cats). I know some basic commands and am constantly wagging my little tail showing everyone how happy I am in general.

My pictures just don’t do me justice. When you see how dainty and small I am (about 20 pounds) and see my long eyelashes and beautiful brown eyes, you’ll fall in love with me immediately. Of course, I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccinations, so I am ready for you!

If you are interested in meeting Callie, please complete one of our online adoption applications.
