Shadow
Shadow is a two-year-old very affectionate male Cocker mix. He is fully house-broken and chews only on his own toys. He loves to be petted, and knows come, sit, and down. He likes chasing balls, and squirrels too, and will sometimes bark at the TV, though that behavior is going away quickly.
Shadow has been neutered and has all his shots, and will be micro-chipped before he goes to his forever home. He has what we believe is remembered-pain syndrome where he can be very sensitive to having his rear end touched, probably due to a long-healed injury: vets can find nothing physically wrong with him now. He has been desensitized to touch in that area by his foster home, but may revert under the stress of a new placement. For this reason, he will need a home with people who understand dealing with behavioral problems, and he should not go to a home with children or cats. However, with a little work, he is a wonderful and loving little dog.
