Wilson is in our Hospice program. Wilson is happy, sweet light tan Cockapoo who always has a wagging tail. Wilson enjoys playing with his squeaky toys and playing fetch. He frequently comes around for hugs and kisses from his foster parents, and loves to cuddle on the couch. He also talks to you, with the cutest little “woo-woo-woo” – particularly if you should be throwing the ball again, or are too slow with the treats! Wilson and Lola both enjoy car rides and walks, and walk well on a leash together, other than barking at dogs they meet. Wilson is house-trained and uses a doggy door.
Wilson was recently diagnosed with diabetes and he will therefore need to receive insulin shots twice a day for the rest of his life. He is also on inexpensive medications for arthritis pain and dry eyes, and will need to stay on a high protein, grain-free diet both to help manage his diabetes and skin allergies. Wilson has also been diagnosed with Cancer.
If not already, Wilson will be micro-chipped, neutered (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on his shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Wilson to see if he is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
