Rusty P 17114

Young Male, 3 years old $300

Rusty is a fun loving dog who likes playing with his toys and at times runs around the house with a squeaky toy wanting me to chase him.

He is very affectionate, lying next to me on the couch with his head on my chest. At times he'll enter his crate to sleep, but after a short while he'll jump on my bed to sleep with me and wakes me with a morning kiss.

He enjoys multiple walks every day in the park sniffing the grass along the way.

He knows how to use the doggy-door and often greets me as I'm entering the house. He is not destructive and never had an accident in the house.

Rusty needs "space" when meeting people. Does not like hands reaching for him. Ok with adults once Rusty becomes familiar with them. He has some dog-to-dog issues while walking especially with larger dogs. Otherwise a great dog. Continuing to work with a trainer for issues identified as possessive / defensive behavior and insecurity, not aggression. High energy dog. Rusty needs an adopter who will be a secure leader and will set rules and boundaries. Recovering from cherry eye repair.
