MacGruff D 17047

Adult Male, 5 years old $300

He gets excited when you return home and likes to stay in the same room with you. MacGruff is a small red cocker with dark brown highlights on his ears, face, and back. He is a special needs dog who came to RMCR from a local shelter. MacGruff has a history of having been hit by a car without veterinarian follow-up. He has a circling behavior of unknown origin and has been diagnosed as Vestibular Disease secondary to ruptured ear drum and / or trauma from prior car accident. His ear drum has now healed. When MacGruff is excited like when he is waiting for his food to be prepare the circling increases. Due to the removal of all of his teeth while in the shelter he will need soft food the rest of his life. He prefers dry kibble that has been soaked in water. MacGruff has a lot of love to give and is a gentle, happy dog. He will need an adopter who will be able to work with the circling behavior and perhaps even be able to have a neurology consult with an MRI to see if there is any residual central nervous system damage from the car accident.
