Mama Mia (usually called Mia) is a very sweet, loving girl. She is OK with adults, children, cats and dogs who are quiet and not too excited. She is house-trained IF she is walked whenever she needs to go out. She is very skittish and afraid of many sounds that we routinely hear and disregard. She cheerfully sleeps in a crate (not wire cage) at night and when her human is away. She rides in a car calmly and quietly. She is learning to eat from a doggie bowl (plastic, not metal--tags clinking are scary) instead of needing to be hand-fed. She rarely barks-usually in greeting. To her, the most important thing is to be at the side of her human--walking or sleeping on the couch or at their feet. She is looking for someone who has time to sit and give her lots of loves, has lots of patience, and would walk her whenever she needs to go outside. She sits on command but may be too frightened to come when called. She is gaining confidence daily and always has a beautiful smile.
If not already, Mama Mia will be micro-chipped, spayed (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on her shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Mama Mia to see if she is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
