This poor guy was literally petrified at times and extremely jumpy at other times. I was really worried about him when we put him in the car. Joji has adapted well to his life as a foster. He gets along with other dogs, but is fearful of strangers. He's skittish or jumpy when a person moves a bit too quickly. He reacts to loud noises. We are hoping that with time, he will get accustomed to things.
Joe (Joji) has warmed up to his foster mom and dad and follows them everywhere. He has been very loving and affectionate to both and behaves like the other dogs in the house. He might even be picking up some of those behaviors by watching the other dogs interact with us. He wants to be loved and is not afraid to come up and ask for a hug. Other than being a bit jumpy and fearful of others, Joji is a wonderful dog. Takes a while to get comfortable with new people. Good with other dogs. Not sure about children or cats. Heart rate has improved and is no longer a concern.
If not already, Joe L will be micro-chipped, neutered (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on his shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Joe L to see if he is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
