Ike is a fun, loving pup. He is one of the happiest boys you will ever meet. His owner passed away and he was saved from euthanasia by a women's prison in Kansas until Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue could pick him up. He is blind with one eye being removed and also deaf. But that does not stop him. He gets around great, stairs are no problem. He is potty trained. He loves to play chase and run in small little bursts so he does not run into anything. He is really good with other dogs and cats. He is currently being fostered with 2 Cockers, a Catahoula mix and two cats. But does not really interact with them a lot. He is really quiet, unless he feels alone and then he will bark until he finds you. He spends a lot of his time hanging out in the chair sniffing out everything. He would love for his forever family to let him hang out on the couch, sleep in your bed and spoil him rotten. He would be best suited for someone that is home a lot.
If not already, Ike will be micro-chipped, neutered (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on his shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Ike to see if he is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
