Gus is a sweet dog who loves to please his owners! Gus is a quiet shy dog who doesn’t require a lot of attention but will come to you when he wants cuddles and snuggles. He loves to use his dog steps to get on the couch or bed with you.
Gus has been waiting for quite a while now for his forever home. He would be a great dog for a senior. He would be best in a home setting versus an apartment. Gus gets along fine with other dogs and cats but would also be OK as an only dog. He is housebroken and will let you know if he needs to go outside. Gus loves to go on car rides. His vision is very good despite a cataract. Companion dog in the home would be a great benefit for Gus. Gus is a 2015 Alumni, returned due to his owner’s unexpected illness 1.5 years later.
If not already, Gus will be micro-chipped, neutered (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on his shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Gus to see if he is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
