Angie is a spunky lady who was found wondering around a truck stop. She had burns on top of her back probably from being under vehicles, but those have healed are not noticeable. Even though she is vision and hearing impaired, she makes up for it with her sassy and loving attitude. She considers herself your personal “foot warmer” and guardian, as she will bark when visitors come to the door. If you are late fixing breakfast or dinner, she will talk to you, push herself up to a sort of sit and pounce back down with both front legs.
While Angie takes long term medication for liver failure and arthritis, she doesn’t let that slow her down. She likes balls and loud squeaky toys if you will toss them for her and play keep away. She loves being petted, scratched and massaged gently. She gives an “I love you” kiss if you lean over close and then she is ready for the next activity.
Angie is house-trained and uses a doggie door for access to the outside. She likes to take rides and enjoys only short walks due to her arthritis. She is good with other dogs and cats. Due to her hearing and vision issues, she should not be in a home with small children. Angie would do well in a quiet loving home with lots of attention.
