Andy is a loving, go-with-the-flow, playful pup. This adorable 7-year-old buff Cocker has freckles on his face and feet. Andy adjusted well to his new home, and gets along well with his smaller, but alpha four-legged foster sister.
Andy is an affectionate dog who bonds with and quickly becomes protective of his people. Although he needs to lose five pounds, he is in great health. He had regular vet care throughout his life. Andy knows basic obedience, is house-trained and travels well. Andy would do best in a home that provides plenty of consistency, patience, one-on-one attention, and a big play area. He is very social and loves to tag along on adventures. When Andy feels overwhelmed by other dogs or humans, he will give a slight snarl.
Andy is submissive to alpha dogs, which makes him a good fit for homes with existing dogs. His history shows he does well with children. He also enjoys snuggling, chewing on bones, playing with his favorite toy, a red ball, and running around the yard. He loves walks but is just now learning not to pull on while on a leash, so this training should continue in his new home. Andy will show his love and devotion to anyone who, in return provides the same to him.
If not already, Andy will be micro-chipped, neutered (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on his shots prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Andy to see if he is a good fit for your home, please fill out an Adoption Application online.
