Pepper’s Happy Tale

Pepper was one of the more popular dogs that came into our rescue. Debbie and her family had been waiting some time for the one they thought would be the best fit for their family. They met Pepper and knew that he was the one. They have renamed him Max and wanted to share a couple of stories:
He is quite a little character. Tonight after I put the kids to bed, I couldn’t find him – usually he is Velcroed to my side. However, I found him alright, sitting at the dining room table, politely in a chair, little paws just barely touching the table, and he was licking the chicken platter. I said with proper inflection, “Maaaxxxxxx.” He hopped down immediately and hid behind the sofa. Too funny.
In the first photo, Sophie is reading him a story – about fish! We think he liked it.
