Molly
Molly is an 8 year old, beautiful buff and white, spayed American Cocker Spaniel who needs to find a new home. Unfortunately, she has become an escape artist and has gotten over or under a 6 foot privacy fence repeatedly when her family is gone. She does not like the crate and has separation anxiety enough to cause her to be destructive when left at large in the house when alone. Molly also gets into the trash, so she will need someone with experience in dog training and separation anxiety. Her family is just too busy to work with her to help her overcome these new behaviors, so they are seeking to rehome her with a loving family.
Molly is gentle, loving and healthy. She is house trained, leash trained and knows some basic commands. She loves tennis balls and playing fetch. She also loves swimming!
Molly LOVES children of all ages as well as other dogs and people. She has always been great with the family’s 3 year old twins, so she can go to a family with small children. This little girl has not been around many cats, but she has been generally curious and gentle with the cats she has come into contact with during the 7 years that her family has had her. She’s not a big barker, only when the doorbell rings or a stranger enters the house. She is not aggressive at all and has never bitten, snapped or even growled at anyone. Her only fear is thunder. When she hears it, she will shake, seek attention or hide under the bed.
Molly is up to date on her vaccinations and ready for her new forever home. The owner believes the best situation for her would be a family with children and perhaps another dog to play with, but for certain with someone who is home a lot and can spend time with her.
