Lincoln
Lincoln is a four year old black male Cocker Spaniel. Lincoln is a little taller that a lot of other Cocker Spaniels and weighs around 40 pounds. He could stand to lose a couple of pounds, but is really quite solid. He was really sad and depressed when he came into rescue, but he is being fostered with a younger female who is quite active, so he is coming out of his shell. Running in the yard with her will really help him lose a few pounds. Now that he knows he is safe, he is gaining confidence every day!
Lincoln is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He has had some problems with his ears, but the vet is working to resolve those issues. He is becoming quite playful and enjoys his toys. He is really affectionate and loves attention, especially sitting near you and getting pets. He is house trained and is very gentle on the lead. This gentle giant is looking for someone that will love him and give him the attention he craves. He is great around other dogs and children. We don’t know how he would react to cats, but if his general demeanor is any indication, he should be fine.
