My name is “Joey” and all of my friends are here at Rockin’ Paw too! Goldie and Socks and Lady and Thumper! We were lucky to find a safe place to live temporarily when our owner had to sign us in at the shelter after he lost his job and our home. We tried to stay together by living in his car for awhile — it was very scary for us all. My foster parents tell me that I am “too sweet for words”!! I am playful, friendly, and housetrained. I’ve been neutered, heartworm negative tested, and all of my vaccines are current now. I am only 1 ½ years old. I know that we may not all be able to stay together as we try to look our best to be re-homed, but I promise you this – I will be the best dog ever! I would love to go walking with you every day and to snuggle on the couch with you at night. All applicants must provide a veterinary reference on the adoption application. Home visits occur prior to each adoption. Understand that the adoption fee is not for the purchase of a dog, but rather to cover the medical cost of all dogs in our care.
