Jasper
Jasper has an adoption application in progress!
Jasper is a velcro dog. He is very loving and loves attention. He will get face to face with you to get your attention and then lay his head on your chest.
Jasper is house trained and we are working on his crate training. He goes in his crate at night. I have yet to hear him bark. He is very curious and follow you around and checks out everything like the tops of counters (we are working on this behavior). He knows his name and follows basic commands like sit and comes when he is called.
He like to ride in the car and play with Finnigan and his toys. He is very loving and wants to please. Jasper like to be on the couch with you and also goes on the bed to greet you. Like to be brushed. He adjusted to his foster home very quickly. He had a great time with the foster’s grandchildren who are age 2 and 3. He should fit in well with small children. He likes to be the center of attention. Jasper finally barked! He would be a wonderful pet for a family who can give him alot of love.
Jasper’s foster mom tells us that he would be fine as an only dog. He does get along with other dogs in the foster home, but he wants all the attention and will get jealous when the other dog is getting attention. Jasper doesn’t get aggressive, he will just nudge his way in.
