Ginger

on Thursday,June 3, 2010

Ginger is a beautiful chocolate female Cocker Spaniel that came to RMCR from Kansas.  She’s approximately 2 years old.  Ginger tested positive for heartworm and has been treated for the illness and should be able to live a normal active life.  She has a fatty tumor on her underside which the vets have declared a non-issue.

Ginger is a sweetheart that will do well in any home.  Her very favorite activity is having her tummy rubbed!  Ginger loves exploring outdoors and, like many cockers, keeps her nose to the ground, and when happy, wiggles her entire back half!  Since she loves to be out doors, she would love to have a home with a fenced yard that she can explore. She is completely house trained, up -to-date on her vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped.  She does well with other dogs, and although she is not currently in a home with children, we feel she would be fine with kids of all ages.  We’re unsure about cats.

If you are interested in meeting Ginger, please complete an online adoption application.
