Get your dog’s story featured in a book!
Happy Tails Books is looking for great stories about adopted Cocker Spaniels and Cocker-mixes. Sending in your story has many benefits: Your dog will be immortalized in print, you’ll be helping to raise awareness about Cocker rescue, and each contribution moves our rescue toward a greater annual donation from Happy Tails Books’ annual sales.
It doesn’t matter if you believe yourself to be a good writer or not – the important thing is that your story is emotional, interesting, has a clear point, and gets submitted soon. Happy Tails Books will help you make it pretty (if necessary). Purebred and mixed-breed dogs welcome as are stories from fosters and forevers.
Lost Souls: Found! Inspiring Stories About Cocker Spaniels will be the fourteenth book in Happy Tails Books’ breed-specific series about adopted dogs. Story guidelines and a submission form are located at http://happytailsbooks.com/submit.htm.
The submission deadline is July 30, 2010, but don’t wait until then to submit your story! Earlier submissions have a better chance of making it in the book.
