Dogs rescued from puppy mills are often horribly traumatized. Every puppy mill survivor is different; what works on one or many, will completely fail on others. The only thing that is consistent is that they all need lots of patience, understanding, love, and probably most importantly, unconditional acceptance of what their emotional limitations may be.
