Bess and Beverly Find A Forever Home
Bess and Beverly have been together their whole lives starting at the puppy mill where they were probably born as litter mates. They were bred for their unusual and striking coloring and produced puppies for the mill for a few years before they were given up to the rescue. When we first got them, they were very timid and cuddled tightly together in the back of their crate. Slowly they came out of their shelter and started to embrace the good life at their foster mom’s home where they learned to play and interact with people. They were at an adoption event at the Park Meadows Petco when Kris and Cheryl stopped by to see Bess after noticing her on Petline9 the previous Saturday. Once they met the girls, they decided they could not split them up and adopted both of them! Now the girls each have a lap to lay in when they aren’t taking a walk and exploring their new forever home.
